The US Open tennis tournament is a tournament that took place in 1881 and is now held on an outdoor hard court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in the Park. Flushing Meadows – Corona, New York City, United States.

The US Open tournament takes place in late August, early September and lasts for about two weeks of competition, and is the last Grand Slam tournament of the year since the 1987 season. Newport (1881-1914), Forest Hills (1915-1920, 1924-1977), and Philadelphia (1921-1923) held the event before it was relocated to the USTA National Tennis Center in five.

This is the first time in an open era that four of the four finalists (Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka and Gaël Monfils) are all 33 years of age or older.
