Wolff: ‘The future without Hamilton’ll be difficult for Mercedes’
Mercedes leader, Toto Wolff, trusts Lewis Hamilton but also hopes to rise from young talents.

Hamilton has joined Mercedes since 2013 and won five championships with the German racing team. Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes will expire later this year. Wolff revealed that the two sides have not yet negotiated a new contract, but believe an agreement will soon be approved.
“We communicate with each other often, though there are different lives. Both are conscious of keeping themselves in the wheel of life. When Lewis returns to Europe, we will do what we need to do. Mercedes and Lewis have been with each other for 8 years. We don’t need new requirements to sign an agreement. Our relationship is well-founded and I believe it will soon reach a new agreement, “he said.
